<p>Shailesh Lodha has won the court case against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah creator Asit Kumar Modi, which is a major blow for the production team. When Lodha left TMKOC in April 2022, he claimed that his dues had not been paid.</p>
<p>According to the E-Times, the decision, which directed Asit Kumar Modi to send Shailesh Lodha a demand note for Rs 1 crore in unpaid debt, was made in May of this year. <p>“Money was never a factor in this struggle. It was about standing up for oneself and pursuing justice. Shailesh said to the E-Times, “I feel like I have won a war and I’m delighted that the truth has won out. However, Asit Kumarr Modi’s team has not yet released a formal remark on the subject.</p>
<p>For those who are unaware, Shailesh Lodha complained to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in May of this year about the producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for allegedly failing to pay dues. Under Section 9, he filed a corporate bankruptcy resolution and said that Modi was unable to pay his obligations.</p>
<p>Asit Kumar Modi also declined to comment on the situation, while the project leader for TMKOC, Sohil Ramani, said that they ‘never rejected or refused’ to pay Lodha. There isn’t much else to say that hasn’t already been stated. Shailesh Lodha has been nothing short of a family. We were grateful for his departure. Additionally, we have asked him to visit the office on multiple times through email and phone so that he may sign all necessary documentation and complete his remaining numeracy. Never have we rejected or refused to pay him. Before full remuneration is granted when someone leaves a firm, they must sign all final paperwork, he had said.</p>
<p>Taarak Mehta was portrayed by Shailesh Lodha in the program. He had been involved with the program from the outset. But he gave up in April 2022. In the program, Sachin Shroff takes Lodha’s position.</p>
