These attacks primarily targeted Indian government, financial, and transportation sector organizations.</p>

They seek to interfere with crucial systems, which might result in significant financial and reputational damages for the firms they influence, according to Group-IB experts.</p>
<p>According to the research, the organization is largely motivated by religious and political beliefs.</p>
<p>Australia, Senegal, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Ethiopia were among the other nations that were under attack.</p>
<p>The threat actor is also reported to have accessed administrative panels and web servers, most likely by using known security holes or lax passwords.</p>
<p>According to the research, the hacktivist collective often uses weak versions of PHPMyAdmin and WordPress and depends on free and open-source tools to launch DDoS and defacement assaults.</p>
<p>According to the article, Mysterious Team Bangladesh is thought to have been founded by a Telegram user going by the handle D4RK_TSN.</p>
<p>The analysts predict that the organization would broaden its activities this year and probably step up its assaults in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.</p>
<p>The analysts also predict that the hacktivist group would continue to concentrate its attacks particularly on financial institutions and governmental organizations.</p>
