In a rural football event, FC Pallah wins

<p>The tenth One Village Open Football Tournament, held at MGMN Senior Secondary School in honor of the late club member Sukhwinder Sukhi, was organized by the Ahmedgarh Sports and Welfare Club. It came to an end here today.</p>

<p>Over the course of the three days, FC Ghungrali finished as the runners-up, while the Football Club (FC) Pallah emerged victorious. The winner of the competition was announced as Samar Singh Ghungrali.</p>
<p>During the event, many sessions were conducted by former MLA Iqbal Singh Jhoondan, Sumit Mann, ZENCO chairman Navjot Singh Jarag, Malerkotla SSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, and MP Dr. Amar Singh Boparai of Fatehgarh Sahib.</p>
<p>Thirty-two men’s teams took part in the tournament, according to coordinator Shiv Kumar Narad and president Arvind Maavi of the Ahmedgarh Sports and Welfare Club.</p>
<p>In addition to trophies, the winning and runner-up teams received monetary awards of Rs 41,000 and Rs 31,000, respectively. After overcoming Banbhaura and Jassowal in the semifinals, these teams advanced to the championship match.</p>
<p>A number of past presidents of the local council congratulated the winning teams and players.</p>
